I'm an addict.
Possibly a klepto, but definitely a kinky femme that absolutely loves latex and impact play (not two things that often go well together I should point out). I have an ever-growing and evolving collection of fetish toys which has now outgrown the toy box I used to store them in... when I first tip-toed into the wonderful world of kink a little over ten years ago.
And yet, I am still constantly on the lookout for various toys, implements, everyday objects and pervertables that will add perhaps more than twice the spice to the fun I can have in the bedroom.
I should perhaps explain at this point that I am a single woman.
And although I switch between both sub and domme roles depending on the partner I am playing with, I have a simple rule for any toy I'm going to use: that I will always test or use it on myself before inflicting it on another.
Why am I telling you this?
And what the hell is the point of writing this blog?
Well simply put, I want to share what I know about kinky toys.
In the wake of the 'mummy porn' (sic) phenomenon countless shops, retailers, and online sellers have sprung up offering a vast array of kink-related items in an attempt to cash in on the current trend in the market.
Some of these toys are cheap and some expensive (to say the very least).
There are sellers on eBay peddling poorly made, imported from Asia, potentially dangerous items, and there are those quality items, handcrafted, well made, and a joy to use on which it is worth spending a few extra of your hard-earned pennies to not only improve your sex life but keep you safe in the process.
Whether you are taking your first tentative steps into this wonderfully vast kink, fetish and BDSM realm, or like me have been exploring all that BDSM has to offer for many years, my hope is that this blog will both be enlightening and informative to help you in making the best decision when buying and trying new sex toys.
Of course my real aim is to have a perfect excuse to buy and test lots more toys.
...And with some gorgeous men along the way without the label of being a klepto-maniacal sex addicted kinkster.
Plus hey, it’s truly an orgasmic hobby.
In my next few posts I'm going to be really getting out, getting into, onto, well, definitely trying out... a few of my favourite items. Next post we'll be looking at Magic Wands, and no, no, no... I'm not talking Harry Potter... or the magician with a rabbit and hat. Hopefully it be like the intention I have for my blog...This will be a different kind of magic.
Enjoy your toys
